It's True, I Drink Too Much

This morning, I was running early to work for once so I decided to stop at Starbucks as a Friday reward. I got my drink, happily finished the commute listening to the newest episode of Pop Culture Happy Hour, and got to my desk (almost) right on time! So, I'm sitting there checking my email and enjoying my Starbucks when I look over to my right and come to the realization that I have solid plans to drink at least five more different drinks before leaving the office tonight. Not multiple cups of water. I mean that I have no motivation to prepare lunch or dinner but that I have actually orchestrated a six course menu of drinks for the day.

I have long been a beverage person. It was always a dream to go to that Club Cool thing at Epcot where you can try drinks from around the world. I never really cared to do Splash Mountain or whatever else they have at Disney---I just really wanted to spend my time as a child tasting Guarana Kuat and VegitaBeta and Israeli carbonated lemonade. That dream sort of came true a few summers ago when I got to go to the Fancy Food Show at Javits Center, but that consisted primarily of eating cheese cubes and drinking aloe juice or taking shots of mango tequila during "work hours".

See below for a journey through today's drink menu, which is actually pretty routine save for the special Starbucks purchase.

8:00 AM     Starbucks Venti Matcha Tea Latte w/ Coconut Milk, No Sweetener
10:00 AM   Smoothie w/ Cherries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Blueberries, 1/2 Banana, Spinach
ALL DAY    2 liters of water
1:00 PM      Hot Tea (Matcha or Earl Grey)
3:00 PM     An 8G tablet dissolved in 2 cups of water
4:00 PM     Smoothie w/ Almond Milk, Almond Butter, Maple Syrup, 1/2 Banana

Don't judge me.
