Top 10 Autumn Candles

In my opinion, there should be a candle for every part of the day. We need energizing citrus in the morning, something warm and sunny for the afternoon, and relaxing scents in the evening. A more widely adopted theory is that there should be a candle for every season. This past summer, my go-to scent has been Poolside Dream, which smells kind of like coconut sunscreen. But it's obvious that my favorite candles always fall into the fall category because all of my favorites inevitably do.

Yankee Candle | Crisp Fall Night
Described as dreamy and earthy with notes of bergamot, grapefruit, black peppercorn, lavender, maple leaf, cedar, and lakeside moss. This will evoke the feeling of an evening on the lake.

Tom Dixon | Royalty
To evoke the feeling of London, this candle blends the smells of "a pot of Earl Grey, scones, strawberry jam and the drive home in a '52 Bentley with tatty leather seats".

Bella Freud | Bella Freud
A warm scent combining Moroccan smoked incense, cedarwood, and resins of amber and myrrh.

Bath & Body Works | Leaves
This quintessential fall scent combines notes of crisp red apple, golden nectar, and warm clove spice.

The Little Market | Coffee
The scent of dark roasted coffee beans will evoke the feeling of early mornings and evenings in your favorite coffee shop.

Byredo | Bibliotheque
This scent imitates the cozy feel of a library with peach and plum, peony and violet, then patchouli, leather and vanilla.

Maison Trudon | Solis Rex
Inspired by Versaille's Hall of Mirrors to evoke imagery of candelabras, wax, and palace with leafy green notes, fir's bark, and cedarwood.

Diptyque | Oud
A mysterious East-meets-West with notes of wood, patchouli, and sandalwood.

Jo Malone | Oud & Bergamot
Smoky wood with bergamot and orange granite, described as hypnotic and alluring.

Le Labo | Pin 12
Pine woods and amber will give your space a preview of the holidays.
