The Best of #FashionMonth

Fashion month has come to an end and we are now left to collect our thoughts. Among mine, one thing rings true: Paris, as always, takes the cake. 


WINNER: Carolina Herrera with classic silhouettes and rosy pinks at The Frick.

RUNNERS UP: 1) The modern French maid and tailored ruffles at Proenza Schouler, 2) Modified menswear at Tome, 3) Tiny cut-outs and co-ord sets at Jonathan Simkhai, and 4) Everyday negligee and lace face masks at Givenchy.

STREET STYLE WINNER: Jenna Lyons in white, stripes, and oxblood leather.

BEAUTY WINNER: Gucci Westman for Rag & Bone, an ode to 80s supermodels and the windswept desert look. 


WINNER: Burberry Prorsum with combinations of lace, sandals, and menswear-inspired outerwear.

RUNNERS UP: 1) Twisted fabric and androgyny at Joseph2) Pink stripes and lots of color at Emilia Wickstead, 3) Embellishment and tons of quirk at Markus Lupfer, and 4) Pastels and volume for a candy-coated Galadriel at Roksanda.

STREET STYLE WINNER: My queen Sarah Harris because she always manages to turn jeans and a simple top into something fresh and new.


WINNER: Bally because they can't go wrong and if you wear it, you automatically look cool.

RUNNERS UP: 1) Rich reds and high-neck collar dresses at Fendi, 2) Liquid fabrics and religious references at Francesco Scognamiglio3) Sheer layers and a poor review from Vogue makes Aquilano.Rimondi a great pick for me, and 4) Soft minimalism at Agnona.

STREET STYLE WINNER: This chick wearing an ivory midi with green boots and undone, LOTR hair.

BEAUTY WINNER: Dolce & Gabbana for silk scarves and is that a cherry tomato headband?


WINNER: The Row. MK & Ashley killed it, yet again, showing their SS16 collection in the garden of a chateau.

RUNNERS UP: 1) Sport chic and graphic color-blocking at Longchamp2) Linen pieces and Phoebe Philo getting it at Celine3) Clean lines and absolute perfection as usual at Hermesand 4) Soft whites and feminine futurism at Dior

STREET STYLE WINNER(S): It's a tie! The LSD looked timeless in that oversized black coat and Caroline de Maigret is practically queen of Paris, if you ask me.

BEAUTY WINNER: Alexander McQueen for soft, romantic hair (by Guido Palau) and makeup.
