I would start the day with a breakfast drink and piece of bread, overlooking whatever inevitably spectacular view I have access to. Then, I would go take a long walk around Lake Lucerne and visit the Lion of Lucerne which commemorates the Swiss Guards who were killed during the French Revolution. After exploring, I'd have a pizza lunch at Valentino then visit the Rosengart Collection to see pieces by Picasso, Miro, Braque, and more. For dinner, I'd have rustic mountain fare at Grottino 1313.
In the morning, I'd have a traditional Swiss breakfast of muesli with fruit. Then, I'd spend the morning taking a long hike and stop for a picnic lunch of cheese, fruit, baguette, and lemonade before continuing through the mountains. Back in Luzern, I would tour Tribschen---the former home of Wagner. Then I would spend some time at Inseli Park and have a cocktail at the bar Voliere. For dinner, I'd have French food at Brasserie Bodu before spending the evening at La Madeleine for music and cocktails.
