3 Trends from London & How to Wear Them

I can't believe we're already through both New York and London fashion weeks at this point. I'm really excited to see what's to come in Milan and Paris because the looks this season have been incredible thus far. I specifically picked up on three trends from London that we can all easily incorporate into our spring wardrobes:

I'm so happy to see ruffles continue to show themselves on the runway because I think ruffles, bell sleeves, and tulip sleeves are some of the most beautiful, feminine silhouettes that make an outfit interesting. Both at Roksanda and Simone Rocha, we saw not only ruffled sleeves but full ruffled skirts and dresses.

How to Wear It:

Ruffled Sleeve Blouse with Menswear Trousers, Mules, Burgundy Bag

Ruffled Skirt with White Oxford, Mules, Gold Jewelry

If you've been reading any of the trend updates over the past few weeks, you'll know that glitter is the big takeaway this season. In London, they were shown at Molly Goddard, Topshop Unique, and Erdem in really beautiful variations. While I'm a fan of styling glitter in a high-low fashion with sturdier, more masculine fabrics, my favorite London look was the super feminine glitter dress from Molly Goddard with a ruffled, white trim.

How to Wear It:

Glitter Boots with White T-Shirt, Jeans, Trench

Glitter Skirt with Gray Sweater, White Converse, Gray Bag

It's official, yellow is the new millennial pink. We've seen all shades from mustard to canary to lemon chiffon on runways from Roksanda and Richard Malone to Anya Hindmarch in London. Like millennial pink, this is a pretty easy color to incorporate into your wardrobe because you can almost treat it like a neutral.

How to Wear It:

Oversized Dress with Navy Vans, Navy Bag, Gold Drop Earrings

Yellow T-Shirt with Check Skirt, Green Geometric Earrings
