Fruit for Breakfast

It seems there are fruit people and there are vegetable people and, while I absolutely love vegetables, I'm definitely a fruit person. Especially in the summer, I love having both my breakfasts and desserts revolve around fruit, leaving the veggies for lunch and dinner. You can very easily keep things simple by eating a big bowl of mixed fruit, but here are three ideas to take it to the next level.

Fruit and Granola with Siggi's Yogurt
Fill a bowl with your favorite mix of seasonal fruit, then top with a good granola either store-bought or homemade. My favorite combination of fruits for this is pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, and blueberries. Then, drizzle a bottle of Siggi's drinkable yogurt or kefir over the top. This is so delicious and really filling!

Apples + Bananas with Cinnamon and Honey
Chop one banana and one apple and arrange in your favorite pretty bowl. Add a dash or two of cinnamon to the top and stir so that it coats all of the fruit, then drizzle your favorite local honey across the top. Easiest meal ever.

Citrus + Pomegranate Fruit Salad with Lime Juice
Mix together the seeds of one pomegranate with sliced navel oranges and grapefruit (if you like it). Create a dressing using honey, muddled mint leaves, and fresh lime juice to pour over the citrus. Let this sit in the refrigerator for around 30 minutes to let the dressing soak into the fruit.
