Over the summer, it has been too hot to do any workouts outdoors which has severely limited the cardio options for a lot of people. I, myself, haven't had access to a gym since I've been in my transition moving period, so I've resorted to doing any indoor cardio that I can find in order to keep up with my fitness goals. Some days, I'll do a Tracy Anderson dance cardio routine, but other days I want something simple and straight to the point that allows me to listen to my workout playlist instead of the voiceover on a workout video.
A few weeks ago, I came up with this indoor cardio routine that only takes about 25-minutes with breaks. It's perfect to pair with your strength training for a well rounded workout.
Go through the first circuit, performing each move for one minute with no more than ten seconds rest in between. At the end of the circuit, rest for sixty seconds then repeat the whole thing through. Do the exact same routine with the second circuit.
