Everyone I know is aware that I'm a big tea drinker (especially because my body can't handle heavily caffeinated drinks like coffee), so I'm surprised that I haven't done a blog post about my favorite teas before today! What I love about tea is the variation of flavors but also the various kinds of ambiance that tea can lend itself to. Some teas are great for a rainy day while others are for sunny afternoons or zen retreats. There's truly a tea for every situation! Here are some of my favorites.
Twining's Earl Grey
This is my classic, go-to tea. I love it with a bit of honey and sometimes a splash of almond milk.
Tazo Classic Chai
Chai actually ties for my favorite drink of all time (tied with lemonade). This one is good hot or cold. It's spicy and so comforting!
Fortnum & Mason Black Tea w/ Strawberry
There's a long story behind this tea but, basically, it is my mom's and my favorite. It has a subtle hint of strawberry and is so good with almond milk.
Tazo Zen Tea
This is my favorite tea for travel. It helps you to feel healthy and at ease with ingredients like lemongrass and spearmint.
Teavana Matcha Green Tea
If you haven't tried matcha yet, please do! It is full of antioxidants and has a nice, smooth flavor. The tea is best served hot, but you can also use it in all sorts of baking and smoothie recipes.
Teavana Beach Bellini Iced Tea
I love using this herbal blend for iced tea. It's full of flavors like pineapple, tangerine, papaya, and rose petals which make it perfect for outdoor entertaining.
Teavana Spiced Apple Cider Roobios
I tried this at the Teavana store and had to buy a bag immediately. It's the perfect autumnal tea. Not as creamy as chai, but sweet and warm.
Yogi Throat Comfort Tea
This is a great choice for those days when you wake up with a scratchy throat. Yogi's Throat Comfort tea contains licorice root and slippery elm bark which help soothe irritation.
