pretty things no. 2

Fleece: Patagonia | Candle: Bath & Body Works | Soak: C.O. Bigelow | Ornament: Henri Bendel | Throw: Nordstrom | Hand Soap: Aesop

We're back with more pretty things today, just in time to kick off the holidays! I've been having so much fun kicking off the holiday season in the city with trips to the holiday markets, Christmas music on loop, a couple of new festive outfits, and burning a rotation of balsam + cedar candles. How have you all been getting into the festive mood?

Lately, all I've been dying to wrap myself up in a cozy Patagonia fleece for long walks through the neighborhood and I think this white one is perfect for the job! I've also been dreaming about this Hot Cocoa candle I smelled at Bath & Body Works awhile back which might be the perfect winter scent.

As cozy and magical as winter can be, it's also cold and flu season so it's a good time to get prepared. I suggest picking up a bottle of Cold & Flu Soak from C.O. Bigelow. It's a good mix of ingredients that will help ease the symptoms of colds and flus, plus it's just super cozy. Another good pick for the bathroom right now is Aesop hand soap. For some reason, I always think back to the movie version of Me Before You, a great addition to your winter movie marathon, and how Will's apartment was filled with Aesop products.

Have you guys started decorating for Christmas yet? I imagine you have, but if you have space left on the tree, why not add this adorable taxi ornament from Bendel's? Yeah, it's a little cliché but it's so classic New York, I couldn't help but point it out! While you're at it, this faux fur throw would look great tossed over the back of your couch or armchair next to the tree and a roaring fire.
