Hello, everyone! I've certainly had an interesting few weeks. On the positive side, I got to spend time with my best friend, watch lots of Harry Potter, and even saved a tiny injured bird. My mom and I have been working on moving logistics which included doing a test pack of my suitcases. It sounds like overkill, but packing for a big move requires a lot more thought than packing for a vacation.

I'm definitely excited for my move on Wednesday, but I have to admit it has been fairly stressful. As many of you probably know, moving (especially to a metropolitan area) is often very expensive. That paired with lots of uncertainty is a real recipe for anxiety. But, I'm trying to focus on all of the things to be excited about instead. On a brighter note, I'm going to try to add vlogs to these weekend posts. I think it'll be a fun way to document everything that's going on.

I loved this post from The Everygirl about how to properly use a sheet mask and how to know if its working. They also had a great post about why you should be using natural deodorant. I've been using Schmidt's for awhile now and love it, but I'd also like to try Native

Erin talked about the trends that she is over and what she's replacing them with. I completely agree with her on most of these, especially the horn accents.

I don't know about you, but I'm obsessed with Lara Croft so I was excited to see the extended trailer for the new adaptation with Alicia Vikander (who I've always said would be perfect for the role). Can't wait to see this!

I recently stumbled upon The Pencil Skirt blog and think she does a great job at providing a variety of smart content. I especially liked this post about finding the perfect bag and this one about monetary policy. We need more blogs like this!

This story was crazy.

I'm obsessed with Julia's new boot in collaboration with Frye. Is it not the cutest?

Finally, I've really been enjoying Altar'd State's September/October 2017 store playlist. It makes me want to make a trip to one of the stores before my move.
