under $50 gift guide

I hope you've all been enjoying my little gift guides and that they've been helpful in your shopping! Today, for the last guide, we're talking about gifts under fifty dollars. I find that many gift guides feature products that are way out of the budget for a reasonable person who has multiple people on their list. While it's amazing to be that generous, it's not necessarily realistic as I think most of us are probably looking at a $50 and under budget for the majority of our gift giving.

Luckily, you won't be pressed for great gift ideas in that price range. I've gathered up thirty two of my favorite gift ideas that are $50 or less. My favorite places to shop for gifts in this price range are stores like Francesca's, Anthropologie, Altar'd State, Target, and Urban Outfitters but you'll also find a couple of smaller, more boutique shops included as well.

BONUS: I didn't include this item below, because it honestly didn't look good on the photo grid, but it would make an awesome gift for anyone who travels.

Cashmere Rose Perfume | Zara, $22
It's not often that you find a great perfume under $50, but Zara's fragrances are so good. My personal favorite, which I wear daily, is Cashmere Rose which is a blend of cherry, vanilla, and peony.

But First, Cocktails Candy Bento Box | Sugarfina, $26
This is a set of three gummy candy boxes including Peach Bellini, But First Rosé, and Champagne Bears. I've tried all three and they're so good. This is the perfect gift for any sweet tooth.

Lollia Bubble Bath | Anthropologie, $34
I specifically chose the Relax scent for its heavenly blend of lavender and white orchid with Tahitian vanilla and honey. Can you imagine how luxurious this bubble bath would be after a cold day?

Bow Hair Tie Set | Anthropologie, $12
Who says hair ties have to be boring? I like these bow hair ties because they add a little something extra without going overboard, plus they're the kind you'll be careful not to lose.

Baudelaire Sisal Bath Brush | Anthropologie, $10
A dry brush is a must-have all year but especially during the winter. Your friends will love getting this one from Baudelaire which will keep skin exfoliated and circulation flowing.

Babe Body Scrub | Anthropologie, $24
The famous Babe body scrub comes in three variations: coffee, Himalayan pink salt, and green tea. I chose coffee since caffeine is known to work well at combatting cellulite, plus the scent is cozy and warm.

Oresund Candle by Norden | Azalea, $35
This candle's scent is described as "crackling wood, pine needles, and the sweet smell of the forest", making it the ideal winter fragrance for your home. Imagine burning this the next time you're under a cozy blanket watching holiday movies.

Grey, White & Floral Pen 6-Pack | Domino, $16
Anyone who journals or loves notebooks will love this six pack of pens. While it may seem like too basic of a gift, the floral print makes them stand out. Besides, anyone with a collection of beautiful notebooks will appreciate a beautiful pen to go with it.

Mexicana Luggage Tag | Ella Moss, $25
This luggage tag is a feminine, but subtle way to make a piece of luggage stand out on the carousel.

Cup of Cheer Mug | Francesca's, $15
Everyone needs a cute new mug for the holidays and this one fits the bill. The white and gold is elegant and will be loved by people with many different tastes.

Lichtenstein Coffee Table Book | Need Supply Co., $15
For the art or design lover in your life, I suggest this coffee table book of Roy Lichtenstein art. Not only will it give their coffee table an edgy pop of color but Lichtenstein's work is some of the most entertaining to look at.

Morning Beautiful Stoneware Mug | Target, $5.99
This mug from Chip & Joanna's line of home goods at Target reminds me of pieces from the Australian brand Mud. The subtle, elegant design and cute message make this look like a handcrafted piece that would cost way more than six dollars.

A Privileged Life, Slim Aarons Book | Tuckernuck, $45
Slim Aarons photography will get anyone in the mood for dreamy, summer days. This particular book celebrates the WASP lifestyle, from Sister Parish home decor to chic members of the leisure class like Jacqueline Kennedy, Grace Kelly, and Truman Capote.

Retro Bluetooth Speaker | Urban Outfitters, $50
Isn't this vintage inspired speaker so cute? Most electronics tend to follow minimalist design principles which don't necessarily fit in with a cozier, more antique home aesthetic. This speaker solves that problem.

Byredo Candle Wick Trimmer | 24 Sevres, $25
As a verified 'candle person', I can tell you that if you have a candle person in your life, they will appreciate this gift more than you know. Any true candle person understands the importance of trimming a wick and cringes every time they have to use a pair of kitchen scissors to do so. This chic wick trimmer from Byredo will change their life.

Binge Watching Beauty Kit by Pinch Provisions | Aerie, $22
This might actually be the greatest gift idea of all time. You guys know Pinch Provisions, right? Well, they've released an amazing 'binge watching' themed kit that contains the following: face cleansing towelettes, floss, breath drops, fuzzy socks, nail buffer, hand cleansing towelettes, separators, hand lotion, lip balm, face mask, face tissues, coasters, sofa yoga guide, mini snack clip, decision coin, hair tie. Seriously, any girl will appreciate this gift.

Pom-Tastic Cable Beanie | Aerie, $10
A cute beanie is one of the most classic holiday gifts and one that rarely disappoints. I love this pom-pom beanie from Aerie that comes in five different colors.

Cherry Bombe: The Cookbook | Urban Outfitters, $35
From the team at the indie cooking magazine of the same name, this is the cookbook of the year and will be appreciated by home cooks and Instagram girls alike. It contains a huge variety of relaxed recipes from Chrissy Teigen, Karlie Kloss, Christina Tosi, and more.

Lydia Pin | Azalea, $10
I thought this Lydia pin would be a fun little gift for cult-fans of Beetlejuice. It would look super cute on a denim jacket or the collar of a button-down shirt. If Lydia doesn't do it for you, Azalea carries tons of other cute pins like this peach, this lucky cat, and this pop-tart.

Celestial Drops Earrings | BaubleBar, $36
How gorgeous are these? They'd be great to pair with a party dress for the holidays or with a basic jeans and t-shirt look throughout the year.

100% Human Sweatshirt | Everlane, $50
A portion of the sales of this cozy sweatshirt from Everlane ($5 to be exact) is donated to the ACLU upon purchase. Not only are you gifting a great piece of clothing, but you're also doing good.

Saylor Double Ring Tassel Crossbody | Francesca's, $20
This little bag is a fun piece to add to your bag rotation. It works for day and night and has that ring detail that's so on trend lately.

Stars Aligned String Lights | Free People, $20
I love this unique take on the traditional string lights. These are even cozier and would look so pretty in a living room or bedroom during the holidays.

Round Metal Ponytail Cuff | Genuine People, $18
Genuine People is a brand I've been hearing a lot about lately. This cuff is a great little accessory to give as a gift because it's simple and functional, but it can really add something extra to a look.

Priming Moisturizer | Glossier, $22
Typically I wouldn't recommend buying skincare for someone unless you know about their skin type and concerns, but the Glossier priming moisturizer works for just about everyone and it's really a foolproof beauty gift.

Tulum Bracelet | Gorjana, $39
I love this bracelet from Gorjana because it's classic and works for many different personal styles, but the black tassel details make it a special piece that you won't find just anywhere.

Rose Blossom Body Oil | Lily Ashwell, $25
This body oil is made from four simple, organic ingredients: sunflower oil, rose essential oil, rose petals, and vitamin E. It's handcrafted in small batches here in Brooklyn by Mullein + Sparrow, making it a really special gift.

Rose Gold Swell Bottle | Madewell, $42
I absolutely love my Swell bottle so much that you'll probably see it in just about every one of my gift guides. They're lightweight, come in tons of patterns, and best of all, keep your drink cold for a really long time. This rose gold one is beautiful, right?

Moon Juice Brain Dust | Need Supply Co., $38
Another product I talk a lot about is Moon Juice's Brain Dust. It's a potent blend of adaptogens that you mix into your hot drinks or smoothies and I can vouch that it has really helped me to feel more focused and alert.

The Laundress Delicate Wash | Reformation, $15
I'm a huge proponent of everyday luxury which means that I love a good, luxurious detergent brand like The Laundress. In fact, I used to use Laundress detergent in my dingy college laundry room which, looking back, is quite funny. Any products from this line will bring a bit of luxury into the recipient's everyday life, which is one of the best gifts you can give.

Antique Royal Stewart Scarf by Barbour | Tuckernuck, $45
This Barbour scarf immediately puts me in the holiday spirit. It's made of one hundred percent wool and comes in a washed, vintage print. You can also get it monogrammed for an extra $10.

A Year of Cozy Project & Recipe Book | World Market, $25
I saw this book recently and thought it would make such a great gift to someone in your life or even to yourself. It's filled with recipes, DIY projects, and activities that you can do during the holiday season and throughout the year.
