I've done a post before about what I'd buy with $500 at Sephora and thought it was pretty fun, especially since I try to be smart with my picks even though it's all hypothetical. This time, I chose the sixteen pieces I would buy from Net-a-Porter if I was randomly given a $10,000 gift card.
Starting with dresses, I'd get this blush pink Zimmermann playsuit and a nude, embellished dress from Needle & Thread. They'd work for all seasons depending on the accessories you choose (strappy sandals in the summer and burgundy pieces in the cold months). Then, I' choose this black, long-sleeve dress from Chloe to serve as my year-round LBD. I'd pick a classic ivory skirt from Gucci to pair with t-shirts on the weekend and blouses for work.
As for shoes, a pair of nude Louboutins is a no-brainer as it's the most obvious basic shoe for an elegant wardrobe. Then, I'd get a pair of blush pink Valentino Rockstud flats to dress up casual outfits and blush pink Chloe wedges for warm months. Finally, I'd pick the Isabel Marant Dicker boots as a wardrobe staple.
In the accessories category, I'd pick the Chloe Faye bag and a lacy Anine Bing bralette for French girl vibes. Then, I'd pick this minimal necklace from Isabel Marant and, of course, a big jar of Creme de La Mer.
My last row includes a gorgeous A.P.C. denim jacket for layering and a blush pink top with dramatic sleeves from Elizabeth and James. Then, I'd get a classic pair of white jeans and fun pair of distressed Madewell jeans.
What would you buy with $10k at Net-a-Porter? Would you make one big splurge?
