Is there anything more beautiful and cozy than a night at the ballet? Surprisingly, I tend to go to the ballet in the summer. Not sure why, but that's just how it seems to happen. However, I'm determined to make it to Lincoln Center this winter to see The Nutcracker, which made me think that it would be a good idea to share some ballet outfit ideas.
I know that people can sometimes be confused about ballet dress codes. If you're going to a matinee, it's pretty lax and you can get away with most relatively put together looks. However, you'll probably see a lot of little girls in cute dresses and I think we should take a cue from them. Regardless of whether you're going to a matinee or an evening performance, I think it's worth it to dress up a little.
Here are three outfit ideas that are easy to replicate and will have you covered for any performance.
Black Turtleneck, Chain Bag, Textured Skirt
Simple Black Dress, Nude Sandal Heels, Statement Clutch
Black Leather Jacket, Pink Silk Camisole, Dark Wash Skinny Jeans
