I've been obsessed with this outfit lately! It's super easy and comfortable, but the top is cool and adds a little bit of an edgy, street style element. What I love is that this is an outfit that can take you from running errands to chilling at home to the gym, yet it isn't just your basic leggings and tank top combination.

In the spirit of these workout vibes, I wanted to share some of my favorite green smoothie recipes with you guys. I'm known for my love of green juices/smoothies. In fact, there was an ice-breaker at a work event where we had to say what our ideal 'last meal' would be and the first thing I thought of was a green juice. I probably sounded super pretentious saying that out loud and, honestly, it'd probably be mac + cheese and pie or Chick-fil-a but whatever....I still love a green juice.

Even if you don't have a cold-pressed juicer at home, you can still make a really good green drink by using your blender. Visually, the key to keeping your smoothie a bright, pretty green color (rather than a gloppy, brown mess) is to use light or colorless fruits. For instance, mixing blueberries into your smoothie with greens will definitely make it brown. Use fruits like banana, pineapple, mango, peach, orange, and pear instead.

My no-brainer green smoothie formula is this:

- 1 banana
- 1 handful of greens (spinach or kale, although spinach has a milder taste)
- A watery vegetable like cucumber or celery
- 1 handful of ice
- Mixture of fruits like pineapple, mango, peach, orange or pear
- Liquid such as water, almond milk, orange juice, apple juice, or coconut water

The specific recipe I like the best is:

- 1 banana
- 1 handful spinach
- 1-2 stalks of celery
- 1 handful of ice
- Frozen pineapple
- A mixture of almond milk and orange juice

Some of my other favorite green smoothies are Kimberly Snyder's Glowing Green Smoothie, Goop's Hula Hydrator Smoothie, and Martha Stewart's Green Lemonade. If you're short on time, don't have a blender, or any other excuse, definitely check out 8g tablets. They're packed full of greens in a little effervescent tablet that you just drop into a glass of water.

Whenever I have a good green smoothie, I always feel super motivated and ready to work out. I'm sure you guys are the same, so here's a little athleisure round-up for even more workout inspiration!
