Not gonna lie, I'm a little behind on scheduling posts for this week so I thought I'd phone it in today and share what I've been doing lately through the lens of my iPhone camera. Exciting news is that I just accepted an offer for a new job and am so excited to be planning events full time again!
This past month has been a really chill one yet also filled with lots of fun things. I've spent a ton of time by the pool, enjoying the warm weather and getting to read some great books and magazines. I love Graydon Carter, but the new editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair is doing an excellent job. The Love & Royals issue was fascinating and really well done.
I went to Jacksonville to shoot my brother's engagement photos and they came out so beautiful! We shot both at their house and at a park called Alpine Groves which had so many amazing photo ops.
I also had to take some photos of Frida :)
My best friend Caroline came over last week and spoiled me with gifts! I drank that prosecco so fast and am excited to use my new Rifle Paper Company things for work.
I was randomly craving lemon glaze one day, so I got out my ring pan and made a blueberry olive oil cake with lemon glaze and it was incredible.
I've also been watching Phil Rosenthal's new series on Netflix, Somebody Feed Phil. I loved his first series I'll Have What Phil's Having and this new one is also great. He did an episode in Portugal and it really ignited a huge craving for pasteis de nata, so I tracked down at Portuguese bakery and it was so worth it!
Lastly, I went out shopping yesterday and it was definitely one of those situations where I had a pretty good budget to spend yet couldn't find anything. You always seem to find a ton of stuff you want when you don't have a lot of extra money to spend, right? I did try on a gorgeous kimono from Free People and this white ruffle top from Sea. I liked both but they weren't really what I was ultimately looking for, but I did end up leaving with a couple of cute things!
Hope you're having a great week so far!
