what i ate wednesday (4.3.18)

Happy Wednesday! I recorded this food diary when I was at home in Florida where I tend to eat more interestingly for a number of reasons. Haha!

Breakfast:
I started the day with a slice of my homemade chocolate cherry bread and a glass of orange juice. This bread is such a treat for breakfast because it almost feels like dessert even though it's nearly sugar free.

Snack: 
For a mid-morning snack, I had an iced vanilla latte with almond milk from Starbucks. I very, very rarely drink coffee, but I loved this iced latte. 

Lunch: 
Lunch was some really yummy avocado toast. I used a toasted slice of sourdough bread, sliced up half an avocado then topped it with a drizzle of olive oil, pink Himalayan salt, and cracked black pepper. I had that with sparkling San Pellegrino water to drink.

Snack:
We went to Jacksonville to hang out with my nephew and future sister-in-law for the day and happened to stop into the health food store where I tried some delicious port wine cheese. Yum!

Dinner: 
This dinner was so good! We ordered from somewhere local in Jacksonville and ate outside in the backyard. I had loaded nachos (lettuce, cheese, sour cream, black beans) with vegan chicken and Reed's ginger ale to drink. We also had tortilla chips with really good salsa and then cinnamon tortilla chips for dessert.
