Happy August, everyone! We’re officially making way through the second half of the year and I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday, I was mapping out my goals for the year but at the same time, that time feels worlds away which is always a strange sensation.
So far this year, I’ve really been enjoying the format of having an editorial theme for each month. The themes so far have been productivity + optimization, little luxuries, bloom with grace, savoring the senses, beautiful travels, summer adventure, and all things southern.
This August, our theme is what I’m calling life is sweet. It’s sort of a sister theme to savoring the senses and little luxuries. It’s all about the sweet things in life from pastries and champagne to ballet, a good symphony, and timeless clothing. Also new this month is a series I’ll be working on (at least) the rest of the year where I’m sharing a selection of timeless, wardrobe classics that are both good quality and affordable.
We’ll start next week with topics like creating a glamorous getting ready routine, end-of-summer cocktails, and some of the must-see ballet performances you can watch even if you’re not in a big city.
