the weekend list no. 63

The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.

The past two weeks have been so much fun, celebrating summer in lots of different ways. I spent one of the weeks in Jacksonville pet-sitting for my brother and sister-in-law and it was so nice to get some much needed animal cuddle time with the cats, pups, and even a hamster. 😜 We ate pizza and drank rosé, made s’mores, and enjoyed two nights of the Democratic debates.

I also spent two days up in Savannah, Georgia enjoying the architecture, our huge suite overlooking the river (thanks, Marriott Bonvoy!), and all of the cute little shops. We toured SCAD, which is super exciting, went twice to E. Shaver Booksellers, perhaps my new favorite bookstore, and drank frosé at The Paris Market.

After getting home this past Tuesday, I spent most of the week hustling to get as much work in as possible before this holiday weekend kicked off. My plans now are beach or pool, a trip to Lucky’s for groceries and ramen, getting majorly caught up on reading, and working on some big projects I have coming up. I hope you all had a good week and are enjoying a fun long weekend if you live in the States.
