By now, it is a commonly held fact that Audrey is one of the most iconic beauties in history. Every year, girls and women don Audrey costumes for Halloween---usually dressed as Holly Golightly in long black dresses with the famous updo and tiara. But to me, Audrey's signature look goes far beyond the costume party and can easily be worn on a daily basis.
Keep your skin hydrated by drinking lots of water (at least two 1 liter bkr bottles per day) and by doing regular steam facials. You can buy a steamer from Sephora or DIY with a boiling pot of water, an herbal steam, and a towel over your head. Once your skin is prepped and moisturized, start with your favorite foundation or CC cream. I'm a loyal user of Dr. Jart's Black Label Detox BB Beauty Balm because it provides SPF but minimal coverage which allows your natural skin to shine through.
For the eyes, keep it simple with a clean swipe of liquid liner and no-clump mascara. To achieve Audrey's bold brows, try a good brow gel such as Glossier's Boy Brow. Most importantly--don't fear the bold brow. Allowing your brows to grow will give you so much flexibility with your look. For a classic look, brush them up and outward like Audrey. For an untamed look, brush them up and forward to accentuate the stray, messy hairs near the bridge of your nose.
For rosy cheeks, use just a bit of cheek stain, blended well with a beauty blender. Using a cream based blush will give you more dewy, natural look than a compacted powder. Better yet, achieve a real natural glow--the kind you see apres-ski--be sure to slough off dead skin cells with an exfoliator and increase the blood circulation in your face through exercise and massage. Nothing is more beautiful than flushed cheeks after a run.
